>> NEWS UPDATE: Podiatry organization ABMSP hires Jaffe Management

Jaffe Management, a New York City-based association management company, is pleased to announce that it has been hired by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry (ABMSP) and will begin handling the organization’s day-to-day operations beginning Sept. 1, 2015. new_logo_podiatryThis latest enterprise is an example of Jaffe Management’s appeal to a broad range of clientele, from associations and professional societies to science-based groups and healthcare certification organizations like ABMSP.
Incorporated in 1986 as the American Institute of Foot Medicine, the name was changed to ABMSP to better reflect its more comprehensive mission of granting board certification to office-based and ambulatory surgeons. ABMSP is unique in that it is the only podiatric certification board that is accredited by URAC, the body that accredits certification-verification organizations and insurance companies according to the highest standards of operation.

Jaffe Management is accredited by the AMC Institute and helps its clients by utilizing economies of scale with shared staff, office space and overhead costs. The day-to-day tasks of administration, event planning and bookkeeping are managed by in-house staff so that organizational leaders are free to focus on their long-term membership, programming, financial and governance goals. Jaffe has experience running associations and nonprofits from a range of industries – from healthcare and finance to engineering and IT – and provides a full suite of services that are customized to each organization. Jaffe’s other healthcare-aligned clients include the Eating Disorders Coalition for Research, Policy, and Action; the National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations; the New York State Podiatric Medical Association; and the Residential Eating Disorders Consortium.
