Courtney Vanderheiden serves as a Program Associate at Jaffe Management where she plans events, assists Boards of Directors and handles day to day activities with a variety of associations. She previously worked in sports & entertainment industry, where she specialized in event management, operations management and customer relations. Previous to her career in event planning, she worked in the education industry as a middle school Spanish teacher and dance team coach. She is also very involved in the school and all star dance industry as a consultant, adjudicator and President of an Officials Association whose purpose is to foster and promote the sport of dance within the state of Illinois. She was even named the competitive dance “Official of the Year” in 2019 by the Illinois High School Association.
Courtney earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish / Secondary Education from the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!) and most recently earned her master’s degree in Sports Leadership from Concordia University Chicago. In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, cooking & baking, attending live events, and cheering on her favorite Chicago sports teams.
