JAFFE MANAGEMENT & INTRINXEC ANNOUNCE HIRING OF ASSOCIATION VETERAN GREG MELIA TO LEAD CXPA

IntrinXec Management, Inc., a Jaffe Management firm, is pleased to announce that Greg Melia, CAE, has been hired as CEO of the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in a newly established, full-time role for the organization.

Melia has nearly 20 years of association management experience, including leadership roles at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and American Society of Association Executives. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was recognized as a “Young & Aspiring Association Professional” by Association TRENDS in 2009.

“Greg Melia is widely recognized in the association community as a leading voice on certification, member engagement and innovation, and we couldn’t have asked for a candidate more suited to this role,” said David Jaffe, founder and principal of the New York-headquartered Jaffe Management, the parent company of Minnesota-based IntrinXec Management, Inc., which will employ Melia.

IntrinXec Management was named one of the best places to work by Minnesota Business Magazine for the last six years in a row and was acquired by Jaffe in December. Both companies are accredited Association Management Companies (AMCs), which use a more modern, shared-service model to replace traditional administrative staff for membership-driven trade and professional organizations.

“CXPA is an amazing community of leaders advancing the practice of customer experience, and I am excited to join CXPA at a time of such great potential,” Melia said. “I look forward to working with the entire CXPA to ensure that we champion recognition of the field and continue CXPA’s growth as the trusted source for the customer experience profession.”

The new hire holds degrees from The College of William & Mary and London School of Economics, as well as a certificate in creative problem solving and change leadership from the International Center for Studies in Creativity. While CXPA will continue to be supported by IntrinXec’s high caliber of management services, Melia will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 4,000+ member association and will focus on working with the board to execute its strategic plan and respond effectively to the needs the members.
