Mary Patterson, CAE – Association Manager

Mary Patterson, CAE, serves as the Executive Director (ED) for the New York City Chapters of the International Facility Management Association and the Society for Human Resource Management and as ED for the NY Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. She previously served as Vice President of External Affairs and Community Relations for the Greater Pensacola Chamber, one of the oldest business associations in the country.

Patterson holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, the highest professional credential in the association industry. She also holds dual master’s degrees – in Leadership in Nonprofit Administration & Public Service and in Strategic Communications & Leadership – from the University of West Florida, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of North Florida with a minor in Latin-American Studies.

Patterson has served on boards for the Florida Public Relations Association, the American Advertising Federation and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a technology-focused business incubator, and she is an ex-officio member of the NYACC and NYCS boards. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE).
