MacKenzie Wilson – Senior Program Associate

MacKenzie Wilson serves as a Senior Program Associate, bringing an extensive background in project management, content management systems, editorial strategy, and digital production.

She spent a decade as a Senior Project Manager consultant through her own firm, Sultsons & Company, LLC, supporting ChalkDust Consulting across initiatives with Fortune 500 technology and beauty brands, as well as nonprofit organizations. In parallel, she supported the ChalkDust principal by overseeing operational execution, portfolio coordination, travel management, financial tracking, calendar protection, and accountability systems—ensuring strategic priorities moved forward with clarity and without friction.

Her background also includes high-profile digital production roles, including serving as a Digital Producer for BBC America and as Lead Producer for the bobsled, luge, and skeleton coverage on NBCOlympics.com during the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, the latter earning her team a Sports Emmy Award nomination. Additionally, she has held editorial roles at Spin.com and AllMusic, and has contributed to RollingStone.com, BUST, Paste, and The Midst, among other print and digital outlets.

MacKenzie is a Michigan native who has called the East Coast home for nearly 20 years. She holds a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University and an MA in English Literature from Eastern Michigan University. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and their rescue beagle, Winston; following the NHL and college sports, and cheering on her son at travel hockey games; everything music and live shows, being outdoors, and growing her stationery brand, Goldhawk Paper Co.
