Vanessa Coscarelli Black joined Jaffe Management in June 2026 as a Program Associate supporting the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Prior to this, she worked in Human Resources at Morgan Stanley within the Wealth Management business. There, she was tasked with managing complex employee relations matters, creating and executing performance & talent management processes and contributed to various workstreams as part of the firm’s joint venture with Smith Barney. After nearly seven years at MS, she pivoted to become a stay at home mother to her son. During this time away from corporate work, she started her small business, VanessaKnits, which continues to this day. The shift to a creative business allowed her to build relationships within the fiber space, working for yarn brands, knitting publications as well as growing her social media reach @vanessaknits. Most recently, she worked in sales at a US based yarn brand, growing their wholesale business within the US and Canada.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and rescue dogs / cat. She loves weekend trips to new locales, the beaches of Stone Harbor and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
